2017-2018 saw the Family Physician led rollout of CHANGE BC, developed through a grant received by the Pacific Northwest Division from Metabolic Syndrome Canada. Dr. Jocelyn Black, Dr. Brenda Huff, Dr. Greg Linton, Dr. Matthew Menard, Dr. Wouter Morkel, and Dr. Onuora Odoh have received three awards for their cutting edge leadership and partnership work to optimize primary care supports for PNW Division Patients:

  • College of Family Physicians of Canada - 2018 Advancing Family Medicine Award of Excellence

  • BC College of Family Physicians - 2018 Innovations in Primary Care Award

  • Rural Coordinating Committee of BC - 2018 Award of Excellence in Effective and Efficient Healthcare Partnerships in Rural BC
