Carrie Krekowski

As Practice Education Manager, UBC Health, Carrie Krekoski [insert credentials here if they don't fit in title] supports the strategic planning, development, implementation and evaluation of integrated practice education initiatives. She collaborates closely with faculty leads from UBC health disciplines and community partners internal and external to UBC. In addition to her work at UBC Health, Carrie is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry. She teaches in content areas related to cultural safety, professionalism, communications, behavioural change and collaborative relationship-focused care/services. Her clinical experience includes over 30 years of practice across varied rural and urban practice settings (general, specialty, public health, regulation, education and community long-term care). Carrie brings experience in healthcare regulation and team-based practice. She has a Master of Education from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from UBC. She is completing a doctoral degree in educational leadership and policy.
